You Should Buy: Owala Freesip Insulated Water Bottle
Swig or sip - it's up to you with this bottle that keeps water cold for 24h.
I was at a conference in Toronto a few months ago and forgot to bring a water bottle. On the first day, I walked 30,000 steps. I jumped on Amazon that afternoon and ordered a water bottle I had seen reviewed in Wired (the magazine I bought to read on the plane). It was delivered to my hotel in a few hours, and it’s been my daily driver since.
The Owala Freesip is an insulated water bottle that claims to keep liquids cold for 24h - and I believe it. I’ve left this in my car all day while shooting a wedding and my water was still cold at the end of a hot day.
Its main feature is its two spouts. You can sip from the integrated straw or chug out of the large opening.

It also has an integrated carry handle..
It is leakproof, comes in three sizes, and Owala prides itself on offering a plethora of colourways. I went with Orange/Green Camo Cool:

I have dropped this thing on pavement twice and it’s barely worse for wear. It keeps my drinks cool, and I love the sip/chug options.
If you’re in the market for a new water bottle, definitely give Owala Freesip Insulated a look. They also have a much lighter, non-insulated version if that’s more your style.
